Project objective:
The aim of the project is to integrate technology into courses to engage students in learning experiences, whether they are learning in the classroom or remotely. The project explores the potential of virtual reality (VR) in deepening understanding and increasing student engagement by eliminating the screen and placing students in real-world situations through the use of VR 360 video.
New teaching materials will be developed for distance learning on textile production at different stages of production, from fibres to clothing. The modules will help both professional learners and new hires in the textile sector to reduce onboarding time for new employees by combining immersive technologies and inspiring pedagogical content for the best learning outcomes. The project will also cover possible problems during production and will offer various opportunities to be used in distance learning.
